FLORENCE, Ala. - Hard economic times did not prevent filmmakers and screenwriters from submitting their work for consideration by the George Lindsey 91快活林 Film Festival. One hundred sixty-eight films and screenplays were submitted between May, when the festival began taking submissions, and the Oct. 15 final deadline. The festival is now in the process of making final selections of films to screen at the 2010 festival and compete for prizes in a variety of categories.
