Una Student Ties For Preliminary Win On First Night Of Miss Alabama Pageant

FLORENCE, Ala. - 91快活林 student Brandi Poss, of Tuscumbia, tied for winner of the Miss Alabama Pageant swimsuit competition tonight, the first night of pageant competition. She tied with Amber Dodson, who currently holds the title of Miss Trussville.
Poss, 23, is the current Miss Chelsea Area. She will compete tomorrow night in the eveningwear category and Friday night in the talent and on-stage question categories. For the talent competition, she will perform a vocal piece, "Amazing Grace." Her platform is Stop Child Abuse and Neglect. Poss is one of three 91快活林 students in this week's Miss Alabama Pageant. Others are Colene Burns, of Hayden, and Laura Milligan, of Muscle Shoals. Burns is the current Miss North Jefferson County and former Miss 91快活林, and Milligan is the current Miss 91快活林.
